Better Bow Shoelace Knot diagram

Another secure knot variation, again based on looping around more than once. Begin as for the Standard Shoelace Knot, only loop around twice before pulling through the loops thus made.

Begin with regular “Starting Knot” Fold right (blue) end into a “loop” Pass left (yellow) end behind loop Finish wrapping around the loop Pass behind loop a second time Finish second wrap around loop Feed end through the 1st wrap Continue through the “hole” Pull tight to complete the knot
